ABOUT YOGA FOR PARENTS AND CARERS
Please join me for a weekly hour of yoga for parents and carers of young children. Your children are warmly welcomed and free to be themselves as we practice around them.

MY APPROACH TO YOGA FOR PARENTS AND CARERS
Each week we will PAUSE and settle in the space, MOVE with some gentle flowing yoga, REST as much as is possible with small children around and CONNECT with other parents and carers over a hot drink.
We will generally try to explore the same yoga flow each week, so that there is a sense of familiarity and ease as you settle into the course. However, the structure of the class will not be rigidly defined but will ebb and flow according to the mood and energy of those in the space.
I am a mother of three. Please know that you and your children are welcome just as you are. You are welcome to bring toys, books and snacks. Children are free to move as they wish, to eat, drink or nurse as needed, and their autonomy as people in their own right will be respected.
Or, to put it another way, I know that babies might cry and that you might need to walk them around, that toddlers argue and you might need to support them, that life as a parent involves all of this. It is all welcome, and it’s all yoga; we can fit in some mindful movement in the gaps in between.
No experience of yoga will be assumed and you are welcome at any stage of parenthood, from pregnancy, to the baby and toddler years and beyond. All parents, grandparents and carers responsible for small children are welcome.
